Yet her greatest curse was not immortality.

Beneath the elegant black garments covering her body spread living emerald sigils—an ancient parasite born from the First Abyss. Each spell she cast allowed the runes to grow deeper beneath her skin, replacing flesh with living darkness. One day, when every mark was complete, Morrigan would cease to be human and become the new Queen of the Endless Night.
