Once upon a time, in a world not unlike our own, there lived a dark witch vampire named Jeanette. She dwelled in the shadows of a sprawling modern metropolis, a place where the lights never dimmed and the bustle of human life never ceased. But Jeanette paid no heed to their ways. Her days were spent hibernating in a lavish tomb hidden away in a crumbling mausoleum on the outskirts of town. And her nights were reserved for...other matters.
You see, Jeanette was no ordinary creature of the night. She possessed not only the powers of a vampire - immortality, superhuman strength and speed, an aversion to garlic and holy symbols - but also the dark magic of a witch. With a mere flick of her wrist, she could conjure gusts of wind, manipulate the elements, and bend the will of others to her bidding. But most terrifying of all was her ability to consume the very souls of her victims, leaving them an empty husk.
Jeanette relished in her dominance over the humans scurrying about the glittering city below. Each night, she would descend from her crypt, her long raven hair whipping in the wind, her dark eyes gleaming with a sinister light. Gracing the city streets in a gown of black lace, she would stalk the alleyways and shadowy corners, seeking out prey. Unsuspecting men and women, drunk on alcohol or desire, would be drawn to her like moths to a flame. And with a kiss, she would drink their blood and rip the essence from their very being.
The humans knew of her existence only in whispers. In the daylight, they scattered rumors of a vampire preying upon the city's sinful denizens. But at night, they huddled in fear, praying for the dawn. For they knew if Jeanette's eyes fell upon them, their doom would be sealed...
